African Centre for Sustainability and Systems Knowledge Development

An innovation seedbed and partner center for testing bioeconomy and circular economy innovations, as well as developing solutions to bridge key development gaps between the west and developing nations, especially Africa.

Such gaps include different aspects of the sustainable development goals such as food security, energy security, water security, good health and wellbeing, biodiversity conversation, poverty eradication, industrialization, climate mitigation and adaptation, urbanization, peace and progress, reduction of inequalities and so on.

ACENSUS also provides a platform to train and develop the workforce to bridge the mentioned developmental gaps.

Agri-Tech Producer New York LLC

ATP-NY is the New York subsidiary of Agri-Tech Producer, a crop production company that produces a special variate of sorghum (biomass sorghum). Biomass sorghum captures (sequesters and stores) carbon, and less expensively remediate contaminated air, soil and water.

Biomass sorghum can contribute to the remediation of wastelands such as brownfields, abandoned minefields, gully erosion sites, desert land or sand dune sites, over-enriched watershed and soils, vacant construction or building sites and so on. It captures nearly four times the carbon of an equal acre of tree (7 tons of CO2 per acre in 6 months).

Harvested biomass sorghum can also be used for bioproducts such as bio-based filler powders, poultry house bedding and nutrient-rich biochar soil amendments.
